Its diverse client base includes individuals, small companies, large enterprise, municipalities, and government departments and quasi-government entities. Simtech’s forte is the capacitation of technical staff to be more efficient and effective and this is achieved through identifying gaps in the company workforce, structuring relevant training programs and executing the appropriate training intervention to improve business efficiency and profitability. We target companies in the manufacturing, chemical and packaging sectors. We also cater for private individuals looking at improving their abilities and employability as well as special projects for government and other public and private bodies. Operator Training and First Line Maintenance courses are available. Training of complete apprentice and learnership programs as well as all skills courses associated with their trades. We also do assessing, Trade Test preparation and Trade testing in the above trades. We specialise in identifying gaps in the company workforce, structuring training programs and executing delivery which impacts on the clients business efficiency and profitability. We have 10 fully qualified Facilitators with an experienced administrative team in support. We are accredited with MERSETA and CHIETA along with being registered as an FET with DHET. The main focus of training is to develop efficient and capable artisans. Expanding and improving an individual’s ability to carry out works independently and competently. Skills audits are carried out in the workplace and structured programmes set up to improve industries production and effectivity. The 1st group of apprentices have completed their apprentice training schedules and have been placed at our various clients to gain valuable work exposure. Some students fitted in well in the work place, while some have had a bit of a shock to the system of the real working world. Well we have just successfully received our accreditation for Domestic appliance training from MERSETA.
